Sarah has had a lifelong love for horses, beginning with riding lessons at Wellington Show Stables under tutelage of Helen Varble. Throughout her riding career, she rode with trainers such as Judy and Gary Young, Sergio Campos, Betsy Pack, and Holli Adams, and competed in major hunter-jumper shows across the Eastern seaboard, from pony divisions to Grand Prixs. However, her passion for horse breeding far surpassed her love of riding. Through years of research and learning experiences, she gained a deep understanding of show jumping families and breeding stallions. With her riding background, she brings insight to the competitive traits that riders seek in modern sport. Sarah firmly believes in breeding for longevity by combining genetically diverse and proven performance lines while maintaining focus on the strengths and weaknesses of the horse in front of you, rather than follow the latest profit trends.
