Cuhr is a modern-type mare that brings the strongest genetics from Holstein wrapped into one package. As a 4 and 5 year old she competed in the young horse classes, and ranked in the top 10 during Magna Racino CSIYH1* finals under Andrew Ramsay, before going back to breeding. Cuhr had her first foal in 2010 by Carambole whom later sold at the prestigious Sale of the Rising Stars for a top price of €125,000. Frederiks since became a highly regarded competitor in the young horse classes under Bronislav Chuydoba, rider for Sportstall Tina Pol. Frederiks is now beginning his international career currently jumping the 1.55m classes with respectable rounds at GCT Mexico City and Miami. Daughter, Joya HF, is starting her jumping career in the young horse classes on the west coast. In 2016, Cuhr received her elite predicate after easily passing her IBOP test and completing the difficult PROK standard. Overall, the judges were very pleased with her rideability, conformation, and jumping technique. In 2017, Cuhr was further added to the OS International studbook with a score of 8.0, making her a premium mare. Cuhr is entered in the main studbooks and approved for breeding with KWPN, KWPN-NA, and OS International.
Cuhr's damline, Holsteiner stamm 108a, comprises of a strong performance family with competitors at the top of sport such as the following: The Hauptstutbuch granddam, Uhr, is dam of 1.60m jumper Puhr (Jur Vrieling), the granddam of Wunschkind 19 (Eric van der Vleuten), Tin-Tin (Billy Twomey), and also AHHA licensed stallion Solomon’s Pride. The dam, Nuhr Prestatie, Preferent, is the mother of 1.60m competitor Unanimous (Mac Cone) and Zangersheide stallion Toy-Toy, who jumped 1.35m. Nuhr is also the grandmother of up-and-coming licensed KWPN stallion, Heathrow, whom most recently finished second in the highly competitive Class M finals of the 2018 KWPN stallion show.
