Diamant De Semilly carries much of the most important jumping blood in French breeding. His father Le Tot De Semilly, has been a legend in France, consistently in the top ten sires in all age classes at Fontainbleau. Via Elf III, we find the blood of Ibrahim, who has a hand in the genetics of
nearly all the great French sires. Just a few of his accomplishments consist of Team World Champion in 2002 and 9th in individual, Champion of France in 2002, and team silver medal at the 2003 European Championships. A tall rangey stallion, Diamant exhibits great strength and scope. His photos show what a powerful horse he is, and videos give testament to his stunning jumping ability.
Corrado I was approved in 1988 on the base of his pedigree and his enormous scope. At the stallion test he scored a 10 for jumping. As a 7 year old he had his first international sucess and from there continued to win Aachen, World Cups and many Grand Prix competitions. He gives his offspring enormous scope and is a producer of international Grand Prix jumpers second to none. To name a few offspring are Classic H,
Olympic Clinton, Corrada, Cosima, Cosmos Star, Caramia, Canyon, Think Twice and Cabrio.
Contender is one of the most sought after stallions in Germany today. He has produced 80 approved sons, and 59 state premium mares including Riconda who won the Elite Mare Show at Rastede in 1993. As of 2006, in Holstein, Oldenburg, Hanover and Rhineland, Contender produced
782 registered mares, 498 successful offspring in the sport. He has dominated German breeding values for many years now and continues to produce exciting young stallions like Contendro (premium stallion in the approval of 1999, and winner of the performance test at Adelheidsdorf the following year). Other sons include: Cantos, Koriander, Canabis Z, Chellano Z, and Oldenburg performance test champion, Contango, Continue, Caius, Calvador, Camiros, Concerto I and II, Coleo and Concetto.
Lord was one of the foundation sires of the Holsteiner breed with 62 approved sons. This number includes some of the greatest names in jumping such as Lord Z, Lavallo, Lebus, Lantaan, Lordano and Landos. Lord carried all of the important thoroughbred blood, which heavily influenced
the breed. In all, Lord sired more than 60 stallion sons, and his progeny won more than €3,000,000.
Carthago Z earned a 9.5 for free jumping and a 10 for jumping talent at his performance test. He finished in 11th place at the Atlanta Games with Jos Lanskink & the pair were members of the Dutch team at the Sydney Games. In all he competed in 15 Nations Cups. In 2001, the stallion, who had been leased to Leon Melchior since 1995, returned
to his birthplace in Schleswig-Holstein & the Holsteiner Verband. Carthago is already the sire of numerous approved sons His progeny includes international showjumpers, such as Cim Christo at the 2004 Olympics under the Korean Bong Gak Sohn, as well as Kira III, VDL Spiga, Cicero Z, Colman, Cristallo, Carvallo (Cheseapeake's sire), Casco, Mylord Carthago, Charlottenhof’s Classix Girl, and Hofgut Liederbach’s Cathleen.
Lavall II, the son of Landgraf I, is just like his full brother Lavall I - very successful in German breeding. From the side of his dam, he has the blood of the great stallion Calypso I (Cor de la Bryere), through the Holsteiner mare, Tramontana. Calypso I has been established as one of the great sires of dressage horses. Next to that we know him
also as the father of a series of international show jumping horses, of which Calando (Bjorn Nagel) and Cabinett I (Dirk Schroder) are best known of.
Landgraf I, has been labelled by many as the "Stallion of the Century" by many warmblood breeders. His genes are securely anchored in the breed of the modern sporthorse. His offspring have won just under seven million dollars mainly in show jumping and the amounts are still growing
Landgraf had a very good temperament which he passed on dominantly, together with excellent movement. In his Stallion Book of the Holsteiner Warmblood Breed, Dr Dietrich Rossow comments: "Imposing appearance with enormous crest and neck carriage. Smooth total top line and much presence. Beautiful face with marvellous eye. Long, rather broad neck, long sloping shoulder. Well shaped, muscular croup. Strong bone. Good in front. Good mover. Marvellous temperament. Phenomenal jumper; tight in front, lots of bascule, careful and talented. Huge number of international class jumpers. Up to now (the book was published in 1988) Landgraf is far and away the most important jumper sire in the world!"

of the first foals by Germany's licensing champion stallion, Diarado, that was born here in the US.Val shows a very promising future as a sport horse and as a part of our breeding program as she has the best of German and French bloodlines which have produced so many talented show jumpers. Bred by Saddle Brook Farm of Staatsburg, NY, Val is out of premium Holsteiner mare, Wishful Thinking who was reserve site champion at the AHHA inspections. Wishful Thinking is by the promising stallion, Chesapeake out of Alba Real who has yet to produce anything but premium, athletic foals. Sire, Diarado, led the 70 day test by a wide margin, scoring
9.73 for jumping ability around a course and 9.5 for rideability. At the 2010 Bundeschampionate Diarado had two first place finishes amongst the best 5 year old horses. His pedigree strings together the genes of
top performance stallions such as his sire, Diamant de Semilly, who took the gold medal with the French team at the World Championships in Jerez in 2002 and who also won team silver at the European Championship in 2003. He was then named later on "Best Sire of Young Horses".  Grandsire, Le Tot de Semilly, was a successful international competition horse and is still considered to be one of the best show jumping sires in France. Corrado I, Contender, Lord and Ramiro-all exceptional breeding stallions and winners of millions of Euros in prize money. Diarado's dam line, 318d2, produced the approved stallions Corofino I and II, Coriano, Chello I & II, licensing
champion Camiros and the international show jumpers Cabrio and Morales.
